West side road tripping!
It took Coach Manda and I over 30 hours to drive to Universal studios from Oakland California. Why? well we took a detour to the Four corners monument, aka the Four Corners, where Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona meet. Driving through Vegas, we had to stop for a drink and food. We had to.
Walked around a bit.
The real reason we stopped in Vegas, her favorite drink.
We hung out in Vegas for a few hours, ate, lost more money than expected at a digital Roulette table, then got back on the road. Hours later, we rested here.
This guy ain’t sleeping in the car with his buddies, he ain’t going for it.
Beautiful view. We rested there a bit then got back on the road.
We got to the monument and the first thing I saw was some fucking Broncos.
This is the place we drove 16+ hours for. In the middle of nowhere. I don’t think this is what I was expecting.
We checked out the native American vendor booths, took a about 10 pictures, put up about 5 stckers and got back on our way to Universal Studios.
You guys see this face on the cloud blowing out cloud smoke? I do. What about this huge face looking to the sky on the bottom left of this pic?
You see the taco cloud right in the middle? (sorry, it was a long drive)
Pull up to the hotel tired as hell (that rhymed).
Good morning!
Breakfast!
We hit the Santee Alley aka “Callejones”
We later met up with my homie Pepe. It’s crazy that we both live in Oakland and hardly kick it, yet we ended up kicking it in Anaheim for an A’s game.
We were the only ones drinking out on the parking lot, it seemed weird, all the Angels fans walked by and gave us funny looks until a lady informed us that it’s illegal to drink/tailgate out there. Fuck it.
Fellow A’s fans from the south bay we met out there.
We posted out there for a bit, went inside and left our marks.
It was a good experience visiting another teams stadium.
The next morning Amanda and I hit Universal studios.
We got there at 9am, went straight to the new Transformers ride which we waited in line for for like 5 minutes. Great attraction.
And got some goodies of course.
We went on all the rides by 2pm.
Huge blue screen for films.
Your boy in the directors chair.
Hit the stores outside, I wanted to buy everything in there.
We ended the trip by picking up the homie Edwin and heading to a good Korean bbq spot food spot.
My apologies for the super late post.
